hello (again)… back from blog sabbatical
Hello again! Let me say that my blog is not dead. I’ve continuously thought I was ready to get back to it, but life (just as continuously) kept sneaking away from me. So I’m back, and Anya’s still here and the travels are chomping at the bit to be shared. I hope you’re as ready as we are to jump back in.

early days of bus life… moving in, a stolen bucket, and exploring The Bay
“And so, the first unanticipated glory of bus life was already beginning to reveal itself. With only a couple of weeks under my belt so far, I had spent more time with all three of my California family members than I had in a very long time, and the icing on the cake was getting to know all the best people in their lives, too.”

from a joke to reality… saying “yes” to bus life
“The most gorgeous school bus I’d ever seen, parked in all her green and white glory right there in front of us. I basically fell out of the car, my hands were shaking and I’m sure I squeaked at least once. As Shay talked me through all the features, the safety details, the thoughts behind every piece of the build, I could feel more and more that this was the one for me.”

how it all began… bus life, that is
“…around February of 2021 I finally threw my hands up and yelled to my roommates, "that's it! I'm done!!! I'm gonna move in a van and live by the river and never have to deal with this s*!% again!"
I was joking, of course, but somehow, one of them looked at me and said, "wait... that's actually kind of a good idea for you."

what’s this all about?
“Hi! Welcome to the story of three ladies taking on the world! Well… by three ladies, I mean a human (me, of course), my pup, and my bus. My name is Jesi, my pup is Anya, and the bus? Her name is Pluvio.”
